Workgroups
Learn about and join our volunteer workgroups focused on sustainability issues and projects important to our community. Workgroups are open to participation from members of the Golden community who are passionate about the issue and are willing and able to help advance the workgroup goals and objectives.
Energy
The Energy Workgroup provides a means for Golden residents and business owners to support Sustainable Golden and the City of Golden achieve its energy goals in the areas of Renewables, Efficiency, and Transportation.
Green Business
The Green Business Workgroup helps Golden businesses enhance their sustainability and helps the City achieve its goals for Energy, Waste, and Water, and support destination stewardship, marketing, and economic development initiatives.
Advocacy
The Advocacy Workgroup discusses and voices our positions on issues of public policy at different levels of government, including the City, County, State, and Federal government. Our primary focus is on the City of Golden itself, advocating before the City Council, Staff, and Boards and Commissions.
Communications
The Communications Workgroup develops educational materials, identify community partners, use communication tools, including social media platforms, and encourage community engagement with Sustainable Golden.
